If anyone here is in the medical field of MRI's, I have a suggestion for them to create. Breast MRI's are extremely uncomfortable. The "cage" they have you lay on to process the MRI could be much improved if there were support for the lower body rather than letting a person HANG from their lower rib cage without moving for a half hour while that bar digs into the bone structure. They can pad it only so much. I actually felt pain during these and I don't normally.

I have no idea why ,There are so many women in the reseach and manufactureing and design of these devices you would think they would speak up or help test themselves ahead of time for improvements to make them comfortable

For eons, only men's bodies have been included in medical research and design.

It's appalling sexism. And it's everywhere.

  1. Gym weight-lifting machines are designed for a six-foot man.

  2. At the local Row and Paddle Club, the only life jackets are men's sizes.

  3. "There is no research on what causes breast infections in nursing women," my doctor said.

The message is that women are not important.

I remember my mother saying how uncomfortable they are.
