I can remember my late mother telling me about the McCarthy hearings, and saying nobody like that would even disgrace our country again. Little did she know that someone far more appalling would be enabled by our very own government to horrifying proportions, and it's still not over.

My father, a WWII vet is rolling in his grave
@ADKSparky I can only imagine my Dad. He walked across France as a medic, talked seldom about it. He loved FDR, hated Reagan, and I imagine he would have despised tRump. At his funeral, my son said, "If Pop-Pop had a god, it was FDR."
