I think it may still be too early for the party to openly embrace it. Also, doing so, may cause an upsurge in violence by religious cretans.

It is just republicans have a sense of entitlement that enables them run roughshod over others. While Democrats are much more empathetic.
@snytiger6 We are both generalizing.
I was politically active from 1972 to 2008, including running in a primary election for a state legislature and in lesser elections. I regularly tell people they will meet some good people in politics, but if they want to meet the thugs to become party activists.
