I must say the surgeon did a very neat job on stitching and sorting out my three fingers after the incident with the bench (table) saw.
She is South Korean and her boyfriend is Egyptian. We had a great chat whilst she worked on my hand. The nurses too were very friendly and chatty. Quite a social event really, and a far cry from TV dramas.

What did doc tell you about extent of functionality for your hand?

Should be pretty usable, if not pretty;

@Petter
Good... congrats on the full use of your fingers.

Petter, Petter, Petter....what in blazes were you doing?

Building a 6ft long, bedside table for my teenage granddaughter, using a circular, tablesaw.

@Petter And...may I ask what we've learned from this? (Aside from meeting a charming surgeon?)

Glad you're ok.

@LucyLoohoo We learn not a thing - but have a blissfully ignorant time doing so.

Good bedtime matters always take the cringe out of that kind of experience. Glad you're on the mend.
