I don't understand why the counterprotesters were arrested. Just to follow this ordinance? For wearing masks? By police wearing military gear? That seems like an unnecessary thing to do and that law might be on the books, but why choose to arrest these people for breaking it unless they were causing some type of egregious harm to others or property?
