Since the Voting Rights act was passed, Texas has not had a clean redristricting. We put the Gerry (and pepper, dragon, and what not) in Gerrymander. I fear for our republic if Texas plan is allowed to stay in place.

Good question.

No, now that you mention it. The suit wouldn't have been necessary if Manchin (and Sinema? I don't remember) would have backed the voting rights bill. This betrayal is not of party, but democracy itself. What a nightmare.
