Some facts:

1. The top 2% share the 76% of global wealth and the bottom 50% share 2%
2. Between 1995 and 2021, the top 1% captured 38% of the global increment in wealth, while the bottom 50% captured a frightening 2%.
3. The share of wealth owned by the global top 0.1% rose from 7% to 11% over that period and global billionaire wealth soared.
4. Overall, women’s share of total incomes from work (labor income) neared 30% in 1990 and stands at less than 35% today.
5. More than 80% of the world’s vaccines have gone to G20 countries; low-income countries, most of them in Africa, have received just 0.6% of all vaccines
