Alan was, primarily, an entertainer informing us of his idea. In calling him a "Sage" we incorrectly associate him as a Master. A sage is merely one who tells the tales and kindles a fire for us to gaze into. A sage can be any gender or age. In this double lecture Alan explores the nature of Zen and leaves us wondering if we heard it or not. Perfection.
