Hopefully this patient survives. This could be a game changer for transplant patients. Years ago a baboon heart was transplanted into a human. The patient did well until the heart was rejected. Science moves on.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Breeding pigs for human transplants is, in my humble opinion, no different than breeding them for for consumption. It could make it easier for human transplants to occur in a shorter period of time.
