The behavior of the American political right demonstrates demagogic utter hypocrisy. On one hand, it angrily screams the anarchic - extreme libertarian mantra of individual freedom to do whatever one wants, regardless of the consequences for others. On the other, it acts to limit the rights of

1. local governmental agencies act responsibly on behalf of their constituents,
2. individuals (a) to be free of the gun violence which inevitably from widespread ownership of weapons designed solely to kill humans and from “open carry” utter stupidity, of women to have control over their own bodies of teachers to teach the truth and proven scientific facts, of all people to be free of religious dogma imposed by law.
3. Public libraries to act as responsible printed information free of political censorship. Only authoritarian regimes ban books simply because of differences in opinion. We do not need demagogic ideological book- banners or book-burners.
   Such schizophrenic behavior is a prime exam0ple of people acting with the emotional. Moral, and logical maturity of a totally self-absorbed two year old who tends to throw temper tantrums when he or she does not get what he or she wants, or when someone disagrees with his or her illogic. Two prime examples of such behavior are Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. Tru8mp acts in that manner because is permanently developmentally handicapped. DeSantis does it totally out of a lack of ethics and for personal political gain. He knows better, but is simply a morally bankrupt opportunist.
