This is what the US is supporting now to the tune of another $40 billion: "The conventional narrative would have us believe that Ukraine is an Eastern European version of Denmark.”Nothing could be further from the truth. “Ukraine,” the CATO report notes, “has long been one of the more corrupt countries in the international system. In its annual report published in January 2022, Transparency International ranked Ukraine 123rd of the 180 countries it examined, with a score of 32 on a one-to-100-point scale.”"

"Underwriting the training, equipping, and sustainment of Ukraine’s neo-Nazi element is de rigueur for American politicians, it seems.
By supporting a Ukrainian military that has been thoroughly infiltrated by the odious ideology of neo-Nazism, the US is setting itself up for failure by once again aligning itself with a cause which, in the long run, is not worthy of the sacrifice being asked of those called upon to defend it. Allowing this military assistance to go forward devoid of the kind of mandated oversight that a SIGAR-like organization would provide all but assures that not only will US taxpayer dollars be squandered in a losing cause, but that any chance of detecting the shortcomings of the aid program early on and making the kind of critical policy adjustments necessary to stave off catastrophe will be lost."

With a $40 billion plan, the US is setting itself up for an expensive failure in Ukraine [rt.com]

@FrayedBear If Ukraine were the most "corrupt country in the world', Volodymyr Zelenskyy would've helped Trump and Putin contrive a Hunter Biden "scandal". Instead he refused and stood by his integrity, something Putin and Trump have none of. Still quoting "RT"? I heard Moscow is lovely this time of year, you should take a trip up there.

I see that your 43rd president is now starting to confess to his crimes against humanity Joe. And this is not something that I've read in RT but articles by Americans in American publishers still operating a free press.

I suggest old chum that you watch the videos of Bush on ""All that spin and narrative management they’ve been pouring into the U." and "So the 43rd US President admits reneging on the deal with the USSR?"

@FrayedBear Consortium News? ROFLMFAO! Total Russian shills. CCCP was dissolved 10 years before Dubya became president.

The west generally judges a nation's international standing in light of its enemies.
Putin is monster, always has been, a dictator in all but official proclamation.
However had China attacked Russia, instead of Russia attacking Ukraine, the billions of dollars being funneled in to Ukraine would instead be going in to the coffers of avuncular Uncle Vlad, who would in the media of the west be undergoing a massive character make over.
The West will ALWAYS pretended that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", until (again as in the school yard) that friend asks you to actually step in and fight along side of them, at which point the west will assure them "Hey I'll hold your coat, I'll lend you my knuckleduster, but that is where I draw the line old bean. Fight your own battles!"
All capitalist cultures need a boogie man, a scapegoat on which to blame all the shit visited on "The People" by their corruption and pocket lining.
It was the USSR, then it was the Terrorist Muslims, then it was the Iraqis, then immigrant terrorist Muslims, then Immigrants generally, then the LEFT, the woke Left, Socialists, then the far right (bit close to home that one) and so finally back round full circle to the Russians again (Nostalgia value)

I sometimes wonder if at this time there is a little nominative determinism going on, if you wanted to create an eastern warlord what is a better name that mixing up the names of the only two eastern block villains most people in the west have heard of
Dracula (Vladislaus Tepes) and Grigori ilitch Rasputin, Alucard Mc Satan-Monk might have been a little too on the nose, so why not just Vlad Putin

As usual Len you throw a lovely well timed sabot into the works. LOL.

Have a read & view of the videos of the 43rd US President in
""All that spin and narrative management they’ve been pouring into the U."
and
"So the 43rd US President admits reneging on the deal with the USSR?".

If Ukraine was the most corrupt country in the world that would not be justification for Russia to invade. You grasp at anything that you think might justify your 100% incorrect analysis.

You are so blind you don't realize NO ONE agrees with you.

Hey happy little alien how are you this morning? I've dedicated another post or two to you. 🤣

""All that spin and narrative management they’ve been pouring into the U."

And

"So the 43rd US President admits reneging on the deal with the USSR?"

Do please take your meds before you go to bed.

@FrayedBear You have proven yourself to be a liar, so I won't be discuaaing anything with you. Perhaps you can amuse the staff at your nursing home.

@Alienbeing frothing again ? "discuaaing" & "hime" LMAO.

@FrayedBear I see you still have nothing to say. I happen to like the word "discuaaing". I don't care if you don't.

Say hello to your caretakers for me. Tell them I feel sorry for them.
