This is only a TV ad, but it carries an important message for young people.
(The comments are interesting to read, too.)

Yes, I can believe that. Even for us older gals. I ran into an acquaintance a couple of weeks ago at a street fair. She wanted to snap a selfie of the two of us, and then proceeded to use an app to turn it into all kinds of non-realistic images of us, all smooth faced, colorful makeup and sparkles all around us. It did look pretty, but then to look at a regular selfie or in my regular mirror makes me feel less than pretty. The less exposure to all that fakey stuff, the better.

Nothing bothers me more than having a beautiful woman think they are not. Beauty is a social construct, and I cannot go along with it as there is nothing of substance behind it. The variation of people is one of the greatest aspects of humanity, we should all realize this and thrive to constrain our selves from being defined by something that does not have our best interests at heart. Show me a woman, or girl, that is not smiling, sad, run down and I will show you a person who is really beautiful with a smile, some feeling of care and treatment as a human. I walk out into the world and every woman I see is beautiful, each in their own way, each has a beauty that is given them by themselves realizing they are more than what some stupid app tells them. There is more to this, please add to this.
