The religious nut jobs were ill educated. They truly believe we were founded as a Christian Nation and not the secular one we were actually established to be. Separation of Church and State is clearly out lined in the First Amendment and in the Tripoli Treaty, it states specifically that we were in no way established as a Christian nation but as a secular one where people were free to worship, or not worship any religion they pleased, be it Christian, Judaic, Islamic, Sikh, or none, etc. We need to find a way to fight back against these misinformed people.
