Guess what. Homosexual, as a word, is a modern one, and they probably did not have a word for it at many periods in the past, that is why they had to describe it. Even if one passage in the bible is a modern mistranslation, it is very unlikely that all of them are. Clear proof of just how dishonest you have to be to support religion.

Of course they don't want to make any changes because it would prove that they are fallible and are afraid to lose control and therefor their profits.
