Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Interesting. Strikes me as Quixotic as Republican gays (and, one could argue, Republican anything, given the way the party is self-immolating) but good luck to them.
As to the "childish authoritarian" approach, I don't think that's the sole province of men, but I'd be unsurprised to find that it's more common with men, particularly Republican men, who would be more acculturated to authoritarianism and paternalism AS Republicans.

I am in the process of editing the article to challenge the assumption that it is only Republican men who are the issue. I have encountered plenty of left leaning atheist men who are even more domineering. Example attached - the writer of Secular Voices and director of "critical thinking" youth program Young Skeptics.
@repubatheists Oh yes ... there are asshats everywhere and there's nothing automatically virtuous about being liberal. Or female. Or "woke". Or what have you.
@mordant When I receive similar responses like this from women who manage blogs and want to get involved then I will change my view point. At this point, though, plenty of men need to take a chill pill.
