Unfortunately, as far as his election, lying isn't an offense to its legality. Most likely stuck with him for two years, unless, as you say, his phony charity gets him. Still. Trump ran a charity and all that happened were fines and shutting it down.

The Republicans don't give a shit. Frauds and grifters are typical for them. Nothing to see here. He lied on just about everything. He even said his is Jewish, he's not, so he'd garner votes in his Queens district.
