"We shall overcome" is the best he can do? From the build-up to it I was expecting more. If the revolution is against them then of course they will witness the revolution. Also, bleeding happens whether one has time for it or not and, if one is bleeding a lot, then they are dying. The dying make terrible soldiers against giants. These are but two thoughts. A third is that all this is hard to put on a protest sign.
As David Sedaris might say, "He talk pretty."
What Ventura said is true, however, he has done more to support such actions than to stop such actions.
Can you elaborate?
@TheoryNumber3 If I put my mind to it, I could look stuff up - he most famously said that private charities should be taking care of the needy and NOT the government. His tax cuts as governor mostly helped the rich. He did help start Minnesota's marijuana program.
@Beowulfsfriend Yeah... I always liked that dude
@Beowulfsfriend he didn't do a tax cut. He started a program of refunding citizens from the state surplus. In regards to benefitting the rich was merely because they paid more taxes so they got more in payments. While those who paid no income tax still received a check.
{Jesse Checks had no income limits and were based on the amount of expected sales tax a person paid during the year, so that higher-income people received more. Using sales tax as the benchmark meant people who paid no income tax still received a check, and it did not affect federal income taxes owed.}
