I'm assuming it has been delayed until August 27th because it's almost time for the scheduled soft landing today. This is smart they don't want to rush things like the Russians did. They can make another orbit and take their landing at a slower velocity. I will be very disappointed if this is not successful. It's a very difficult scientific undertaking to land on the southern lunar pole.
