I remember seeing it on the news. I was 9. Between this event, the assassinations, the brutality towards black people; spraying them with fire hoses and letting dogs on them, and the war scenes, I was afraid of our country. We can't let this be forgotten.

Life is so cheap now. Violence is accepted at the highest levels of our government. Nothing is shocking as we are numbed daily with reports of gun murders and the NRA owns the very folks who could and should make a difference.

Isn't that the truth, makes you wonder if we will ever get out of the vicious cycle.
