The "Close to the Edge" album by Yes really effected my musical tastes. I loved it, but it also was a stretch of what musicians can create, where they can go. There were many others proving this, but Yes caught my ear. That after centuries, music was still living. Much of the last 30 years has regressed and possibly disproven that. But we keep our hope.
I would recommend the studio album over this video, but who can resist live.
