Hey come on, we in the UK KNOW it is perfectly possible to commit suicide by shooting yourself in the back of the head while running away from yourself whether with your hands tied behind your back or not.
It was proved in court after a five year public Inquiry where it was the defense of the British army for the large number of recruits at the Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut in the county of Surrey, between 1995 and 2002 all of who were found to have killed themselves in just this cowardly way, after beating themselves up several times a piece during basic training.
