Would you all rather they owe their elections to small amounts from lots of real people ( like Bernie got?) Or to Big Oil, Big Pharma, the NRA, etc etc etc.? This talk of not donating is ass-backwards!!!

Campaign finance is so corrupt everyone should stop donating, but we can't yet. That's one of the problems. Money is not free speech IMO. Thinking about where the money goes disgusts me. The olyigarchs are well positioned to take tax breaks donating to corrupt politicans who do their bidding while at the same time reap the profits from the crappy advertising we are assualted with daily from the media they own.
