Is there any validity to my thought that some people are born religious? I know they’re born with certain propensities like following the crowd or rebellion as is evident with my 2 boys. There are a lot of factors at play but my youngest seems exponentially more conservative and unquestioning than my oldest. He’s attracted to religious and political talk radio.
My oldest is the polar opposite and is constantly questioning and challenging the status quo.
I wonder if religiousness is a natural propensity. How can I “nurture” a more open mind without causing the turmoil with my sweet son that is so apparent in our society?
