I once was, he accepted my atheism. I accepted his christianity. life has compromises, you just have to use your caring self to decide what you can accept.

I don't think that should impact your relationship at all. Each one of us should accept others beliefs. Not necessarily share them.

Gods? I don't know, but it would be interesting to meet a believer who was a polytheist. Is this a real person? Which gods does this person worship?

One can. I will not be in a serious relationship with someone who believes fairy tales are real.

As long as everyone’s beliefs are on the table and everyone is fine with the other believing or not having a belief; then it’s fine. When kids are involved is when the real test begins.
