I don't think so. You see, religion is all about control and money and scientology is all about control and money.

I believe so by definition. Scientologist believe in mystical powers that can be developed when you learn the “tech” and pay lots of money to the church.

Sorry, no. They rely as much, if not more, on belief and blind faith as mainstream religions do.
