I can only hope that there is a cure somewhere for Alberta Stupid.

Yes both suffer from the same problem, too many evangelicals.
Hold on, I live far deeper into the West and I'm part of vocal opposition to lots that Alberta wants.
I lived in Calgary back in the 80's and 90's, so I think I can relate a bit to your plight. If you haven't watched some of the sets by Bill Hicks then do look him up and give yourself and atheist laugh.
@Surfpirate In my case it is concern about short term profit by Alberta (or rather USA corporations) versus fish habitat over the next hundreds of years. Oil pipelines for some of the nastiest oil in the world versus food for generations.
