One of my cats has been really clingy this week, when I'm working she tries to get my attention and asks for attention. I love the nitwit, but I gotta work to afford to keep a roof over her furry little butt.

Explain to her that what you are doing guys the kitty food.

As I always say "give love to get love" and tell them when you think they are not returning it.
One of the most incredible examples was a cat that I only looked after for 1 week. He went into hiding to start with for 2 days but once enticed out guarded me at night like a Queen's guard & was constantly happy to be with me during the day. After his owners returned & I had left he apparently was looking all over for me.
