The roots are solid wood covered with carpet. The trunk is made from wooden plates spaced about every foot or so with a central wooden support. It was then wrapped with chicken wire and the carpet attached to that. This comes apart in four pieces. The leaves are attached to the trunk with metal dowels. It's about 7' tall, so I had to build it in sections so it could be moved. The leaves were constructed with a central wooden support with ribs radiating out, then covered in chicken wire and carpet.

It was meant for them to enjoy it. I think they have.
Very cool!! I was thinking about getting some cat accessories, then I took my car to the repair shop. Kitty girls gonna have to wait a bit, mama gotta have wheels.
