I have 2 cats from the same litter, and the dumber one of the 2, Calusa plays fetch too,. I've had cats my entire life and this is the first one to play fetch ! Her sister Mescalero has great patience and is a good hunter !

That sounds like one great cat, I am jealous. We have three new masters who we are learning about. Mattie is lying on my lap making sure I mention her. We just figured out the names the other two originally had. We have changed to these names and they are starting to respond differently.

My cat Oliver loves straws. He attacks them and then somehow carries them to my bedroom and leaves them on my pillow so I’ll throw them for him.

My cat joins in my walks with the dog, ambushing us, jumping over the dog’s head, climbing trees along the way. He will run out to greet people walking in front of the house. He also is a self-appointed ‘therapy cat’ in the neighborhood, visiting shut-in elder folks to share some lovings. The one negative about his gregariousness is his tendency to enter other homes uninvited. Freaks out the resident cats lol.

We bought these plush toy birds from the Audubon Society years ago. They make the bird call when squeezed. My cat loved playing with them and fake killing them since she was a kitten. I put them on top of Lola’s cat tree and several times a day she climbs up, gets one, and drags it around the house announcing her kill. She’s 16 so apparently this never gets old!!?

Missy Girl has decided to vigorously and repeatedly rub a newly purchased, closed bottle of bleach. Had another cat years ago, Patches, who would dig melon rinds out of the trash to chew on. Lucy, the first cat I got on my own, would nurse in my hairy armpits. Come to think of it everyone of them has been a goof.
