My two have never seen the outside except from within a carrier, and I believe they felt they had more to worry about at those moments than to worry about what was going on outside. I like to think they believe windows are just particularly big and warm televisions on the wall.
Yeah sorta like getting used to the cat in the mirror but if they can hear and smell through a screen they seem happy at our house
Cleaning paws wetting ears&jaws must be a thrill perched watching the bigger world out the glass
My girls want to peek out into our hallway but are very happy not clawing out screens satisfied with fresh air and watching other animals out the window
Kiti6&Laila9
My first cat used to be an outdoor cat part-time. That ended after I graduated. Prior to that, I took her, once, to my fiancé’s dorm. I wasn’t able to take her into the building and we had to wait between the glass doors leading into the building. That poor cat played pond off of the 12 glass doors (6 to a side) until I could catch her. It was and wasn’t funny at the same time.
Are your kitties living in Seattle with one of your children? You did not move did you?
They are my sister’s cats. I didn’t think this place was fair to a kitty and got a small dog (Taz) that could come to work with me. I am moving when my place sells, but don’t know where to yet! Skeeter and Sophie are related to me in my mind though! Cats are my first love!

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
