New baby just moved in yesterday... he doesn't have a name yet. He's a teeny rescue whose mama got hit by a car, but was bottle fed and weaned. It's hard to get a picture of him because he never stops moving. My two grown up cats are VERY put out. I'm sure it didn't help that they had to have their inoculations updated before we could adopt the kitten from the vet. Trauma in layers!
My baby girl Katydid insists upon being an only child, or I would've catnapped a local neighbor cat a long time ago. Even her adoption paperwork cautioned she would be "not good with other cats." Understatement!
How can the big cats stay mad at a kitten so cute?
They are still very put out!
One should wait as a cat will eventually tell you it's name.
What a sweet baby!! Maybe he should be called Tornado!
One of teh names under consideration is Cyclone.
@Deb57 That was my first thought, but tornadoes are more common here in the Midwest. When I found out I was expecting a grandson I made a quilt in the cyclone pattern. It was very appropriate for that little boy.

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
