I've been nursing a tiny kitten. It has lost one eye and the other was on the verge. It's poor little nose was crusted over too. I'm not allowed pets and have a slight allergy to cats but I could not leave it outside to freeze to death in 9 degree weather.
I brought it in and cleaned it up. It hadn't eaten in three days. It kept dropping weight. I keep a crate lined with a thick blanket under the eave. I feed it so I know what it eats. I brought it in the last three nights and it started eating and drinking again last night and today. It's pack came around about dark and it's gone now so it should be ok.
Only those who care seek to protect others no matter their size or situation never long for solace!!!
This kitten is precious and the behavior is despicable!

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
