Rob Lipton from Jewish Voice for Peace brings up some interesting points regarding coverage of the assassination:
“The key question is why media outlets allow anyone with a financial interest in war — regardless of their previous military or government experience — to have access to their platforms at a critical time like this.”
and
"[L]ost in the rubble, was the fact that Soleimani was, apparently, on a diplomatic mission involving Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Actually, when searching on 'Soleimani on diplomatic mission when killed' the first page of Google results only listed headlines such as 'US says Soleimani not on "diplomatic mission" when he was assassinated.'"

He was not any worse than George Washington, David Ben-Gurion, Simón Bolívar, Toussaint L'Ouverture, and many more "freedom fighters" who fought aginst opression from a foreign power and for what they believed in.

@OwlInASack Trump has always lived by Jungle Law.
All the tv networks allow their guest pundits, including politicians like Elizabeth Warren, to speak the “he was a bad man who got what he deserved” bullshit unchallenged. Not one that I’ve seen had asked how the US would respond if a foreign country assassinated one of our generals. Not to mention the war crimes we’ve committed that our generals have planned and executed. Because it’s unmentionable.
