Anyone know anything about Empaths or Seers? Are there groups here for that?
I thought this site was designed to get away from supernatural mumbo jumbo. There is no such thing as a seer and people may be empethatic or have empathy but the noun "empath" does not appear in ny trusty Collins dictionary.
I do believe there is a group for empaths...
@TCorCM empaths? That's reasonable... Feeling what others feel.. Yes.. Seer? Like what? Seeing the future? I don't think so...
Are you referring to paranormal abilities or just a keen ability to discern how others feel and predict or foretell future events with some degree of accuracy?
@TCorCM Don’t know of any groups.
@Cutiebeauty Thank you ...can you tag the poster @TCorCM...he’s the one who is interested.
@Marionville he'll see my reply plus you just tagged him yourself
@Cutiebeauty so I did!
@TCorCM I can only speak for myself and regard anything that smacks of the paranormal with scepticism. I do believe though that certain personality types are more empathetic towards other humans, and can sense when others need help, but not in any supernatural way or a possession of a sixth sense. I also believe there are people who can quite accurately predict future events based on study of past ones, but that prescience is due more to logic and algorithms that any supernatural ability.
