Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I believe there are seven or eight states that outlaw atheists from running for or holding a public office. I also believe the Supreme Court has ruled on this issue, stating the states cannot ban people from holding office for their lack of religious beliefs. But at this time I do not believe the laws have been challenged in court.
