Sometimes, solitude is our best friend. It's the one moment we can actually talk to ourselves and enjoy our own company. Inner peace?
Being with people is much harder for me.
I'm soon to be leaving my one bedroom flat and move into a share house.
I am not looking forward to it with much, or any pleasure.
Am thinking of setting up a tent in the back yard, if that is allowed. I would greatly prefer it that way, and still pay the rent for the room.
Someone else can have it.
Will you have your own room to recharge in or will your bedroom be shared?
@JenBeberstein It's my own room, but there will be another living, breathing person in his room next to mine, the rooms being separated by two sheets of plasterboard – standard stuff, but I would prefer brick – and more distance.
My skin crawls now at the thought.
Sharing a room? I think not.
