Hi everyone, here is a thought that's been bouncing around in my head for a while, I have noticed that I like the me that's in my dreams far more then the “real” me. In my dreams I’m so much more confident and witty I have all sorts of adventures and I love them all. In the waking world I don’t like to go out much or go on adventures so to speak, its interesting how the dream me is so different.
When I’m dreaming it does feel like the real me till I wake up and slowly remember what my life is really like. Maybe subconsciously I wish for a more dream like world where we have more control over our emotions and feelings, or maybe I just like the idea of virtual worlds. Maybe trying to merge the real me and the dream me together harmoniously might be a a possible goal.
it can a pleasant place inside one's head where one is the master of one's own universe. i could spend hrs there but although it can be useful for creative purposes and planning it is not useful for getting things done, and these days i need to get things done.
Our brain gives us what we want. You're on to something, although it's not as much of a merge as a nudge to enjoy more of life outside the house.
Good luck.
In my dreams, I make the right decisions without doubting myself. I aspire to be more like dreaming Jen.
My dreams are always full of people. Even in my sleep I can't get rid of them
Lol.
It is a very possible goal, one I hope you can achieve soon. Focus on the things that bring you confidence. Confidence breeds more confidence.
