Hooray! I picked my first black heirloom tomato of the season today! We are going to have a couple of tasty salads this week.
Love the black tomatoes. You have an amazingly fecund garden. I'm in awe of your energy, abilities and successes.
How do the black ones taste different ?
I think so!
They taste Unbelievable, like tomatoes from your childhood
Yes. They are the best tomatoes I have ever eaten. The taste is a combination of tart, sweet, and slightly aromatic. My daughter sent me the seeds for them about five years ago, and that is all that I have grown since, I save some seeds from them and grow my own plants. If you would like some seeds, then send me a message after June and I will sent you some for next year.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
