I had to smile while remembering an incident not too long ago. Trader Joe’s sells delicious pickled beets in jars, I love them so much that now and then i eat half a bottle at a time. Well, one morning i go pee after getting up, and OMG ... it is very red! Of course, I assume that it is blood. Holy Shit, i think, better get to the doctor! Only dawned on me about 5 minutes later, while fixing my coffee, that AHA it was the beets ... It was indeed.

So you're telling me, I'm going to pee like the red river?

@kenriley Yes, you do if you eat enough. smile001.gif

Job well done. But you COULD try them next week.

MissKathleen Level 9 July 11, 2018

I could, but they look so nice on the shelf with the other can stuff. It's like I'm looking at my handy work, I might not be able to eat any of it.

@kenriley If that happens, call me. You WILL eat it.

@MissKathleen Yes of course I will.

They are very edible after 3 or 4 weeks, so there may be none left by winter!

WalterWhite Level 7 July 11, 2018

You might be right, they won't made it till winter.

You will have to give a report after you open them this winter.

I bet they look good and now even taste better after they sit for awhile.

Sheannutt Level 9 July 11, 2018

I forgot the picture.

@kenriley I thought so wow those look really good I love pickled beets I make them every week I love to eat them in the morning with my scrambled eggs.

@Sheannutt They're good with eggs?

@kenriley yeah I love them with eggs, but I'm a little weird that way.

@kenriley again?

@Sheannutt I loves me some beets? Good to keep your blood pressure down.

@MissKathleen it's good for a lot of things but you had a lot of vegetables are good for a lot of different things

@MissKathleen What do you mean Again? I have a veggie life, this is what I do now.

@kenriley You posted twice that you’d forgotten to post the photo. I said “oops” the first time and “again” the second. - “My comment was dripping with sarcasm.” ( I just learnt to say that from @Phillydrl ) And now, I have just learnt from @Boogey, who is a TEACHER (today, anyhow) that I should append my comment with lol ha ha ha ha ha If I wish to signal my sarcasm. I am beginning to suspect that, if I stay on agnostic.com long enough, my social education will be complete and I will no longer be able to state in my profile that I lack tact and diplomacy, meaning I will no longer be who I am...so then who will I be? lol ha ha ha ha ha My comment was dripping with sarcasm.

@MissKathleenI forgot to tell you that I repeat myself sometimes too.I repeat myself sometimes too.

@kenriley It’s okay. I have just this evening been given instruction on how to circumvent my lack of tact and diplomacy. I should have said, “ lol ha ha ha ha ha”, “That comment was dripping in sarcasm”, or (and this is from the bonus round), “Bellowing Guffaw”. So this problem was entirely MY fault, so I apologize. Mostly because I want to get in your jars.

@MissKathleen I had to keep reading that over and over, just to make sure you said jars. and then I checked to make sure what group this was in. I though for a minute it might be that flirting group. But no it's the garden group. so I apologize.

@kenriley Oh sweetheart, I am a freelance flirter from way back. That group is mostly amateurs. You’re talking to a PROFESSIONAL here. And yes, I DID say “jars”, so I completely understand why you feel sorry...for yourself.

@MissKathleen Well you can see that with me being an amateur,how easy it is for me to be lead astray. But you still want to get in my jars.hehe

@kenriley LOVES me some beets, sugar.
