After a long time of trying to get a shot of my friend the Blue Heron, he waited on me today without taking off. He's been coming here for years, sometimes bring his girlfriend. My phone was the only camera I could get my hands on, or else the pictures might have been better.

Every spring there was a pair of cranes that would fly through and hang around there for about a week. I always was curious if they were the same ones or related ones.
