My gardens have received their fall topping of compost and seaweed. The greenhouse is clean and empty. The last things growing are the calendulas that just won’t stop blooming (love them!), most of my herbs that will be harvested as soon as I’m done dealing with apples and tomatoes, and a few sunflowers that the birds haven’t eaten. So I think it’s time to start planning next year’s garden!
My garden has received it usual topping of snow.
That will be here soon too.
Mom used to have the long rectangular flower beds , that bloomed except for a few months during the winter .
Nice!!! You are busy enjoying your garden. You should share some pics. ?
It’s not much of a garden in terms of size, but it’s very productive!
@SkagwayKim At least show us the calendulas in all their glory!
@misternatureboy I can’t, I picked all the blossoms and brought them inside. Here’s one of the bouquets though! Calendulas and a few chamomile blossoms.
@SkagwayKim hee hee
@misternatureboy I tried!
@SkagwayKim you have camomile? I have been thinking of growing it. Where did you get a plant or seed?
@Zoohome yes, I started 4 varieties from seed. I think I bought the seeds from Strictly Medicinal Seeds. Beautiful plants and great tea! Can’t lose!
