I have sent postcards to the Consulate explaining why I won't visit the country & keep my $$$$$ for a more civilized nation. It cultural attitude towards gay folks is as bad as ours is for persons of color.......in the 1950's.

It's time favorable governments to declare all human beings equal in law and protections. To declare all humans who aren't physically (mental and financial being aspects of the physical) hurting other humans as equal participants in society. Punishments and removals need to be more educational or alleviate the conditions which created hurt. Detaining someone who is having a mental situation, or momentarily destitute to the point of desperation, will not solve a problem. Societies must now learn this as all societies change to accommodate the deaths from environment. I don't see this happening fast enough but I am also not a Soothsayer. It's possible time allows for some survival but surely not all. Since I don't see life as sacred, only something we have a Right to, the losses are simply something that must be for our species to find an equalizing population.
