This is timely. We just had a Christian Church group in our city here in Canada trying to invite the public to a meeting to see how Jesus can help convert the wicked gays back to being normal again. And there was so much protest that thankfully they had to cancel it. But sadly in over 30 U.S. States it is still legal to try to force minors into conversion therapy. It fails of course, or warps their minds to need more therapy later.
These big name actors will help get the word out on ending this immoral cruel practice against gays.

my mother and a friend tried through their religious beliefs to show lesbians the errors of their ways. I didn't even try to explain to them how human nature works.

I’m probably not going to watch with others because I truly get upset watching some stories. I’m glad the world is waking up to this horrible nightmare. It is completely offensive and harmful.

I'm looking forward to this movie. A bit of a spoiler, but John Smid, the leader of the 'ex-gay' ministry this movie is based upon, eventually came-out, has a husband, and now speaks out against conversion therapy. I think he was consulted for this movie.

Here in the UK we have just formally begun the process of banning so-called gay conversion therapies. Hopefully this will be successful very soon. I will try to let you know how it goes.
