Just thought I would share this one with you all.
Ah, Xtian "logic." The couple claimed no agenda but to promote love......followed immediately by an acknowledgment they publicly espouse their religious beliefs and in practice (exclusion of same sex couples), not just words. If that is not an agenda, what is?
I am glad they lost their advertisers and had to fold. Thoughts and prayers ?
It still amazes me when people misinterpret the "freedom of speech" to include "freedom of repercussions" in a capitalist society. You are free to run your business any way you see fit, just like everyone else is free to run their business in ways that they see fit. If your views are such that other people don't want to spend money with you that it your freedom at work. Chick-Fil-A has a Christian agenda. It still makes enough money to stay in business because it has a solid customer base without those who have withdrawn their support. I applaud anyone who has principles and chooses to stick to them. Good on you, even if I don't agree with those principals. However, don't belly ache when others choose to use their own freedom to frequent other businesses because your business does not include all of today's society in it's list of valued customers.
