@AncientNight It's organised religion that's fixated with breeding. It gauges its success in terms of 'bums on pews' so it wants breeding pairs, both with the same faith, to knock out as many children as possible.

The way religion still tries to take ownership of marriage (since it's traditionally wanted power of veto over mixed faith couplings.) The way it objects to sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, masturbation, contraception (Catholicism, at least) and transgender surgeries. It's all about formation of 'traditionally family units' expressly for the purpose of churning out generation after generation of followers, each stuck in the same cycle. It's appropriation of sexual pleasure, for the purpose of increasing its number of followers exponentially with each generation.

God and Jesus (even if they did exist) said nothing about this, because they didn't care. They weren't running a business, whose success was measured in number of followers.
