Why do I, as a gay man, hate the Republican party? All of it. None of the "I vote for the individual, not blindly for party" shit.

I am [not] sorry! The GOP is not what is once was, a purely pro-rich people, pro-big business orgy. (Bad enough.) No, it is still those things, but its strategy for attracting populist votes from the economically struggling has morphed into a cynical, totally dishonest snow job focused on religious conservatives, willing to pander to Christian Dominionists (that is, Christian Sharia law equivalent) for the sake of getting those Christians to vote against their own economic self interest, against evironmental, health, and public safety self interests to capitulate to wealthy elitist economic policy wants. We in the LGBTQ+ community, along with women in reproductive or partner abuse crisis, are the prime targets for abuse and scapegoating that their strategy relies on. I am beyond fed up.
