My reply with 5 min left in the exam.
A barchan dune is the dune that you studied about and prior to entering the exam room could have told everyone what it was but now with 5 mins left the knowledge has left your brain and you are writing giberish in the hope that the lecturer will at least smile while marking the exam.

Personally I hate exams that are about regurgitation of knowledge.
