If there is a God now would be a perfect time for him to make an appearance. Apparently there's a dispute over his land that he could probably settle. I mean it's just innocent children's lives, but what do I know about morality?

according to the Bible, God never had any problem killing the innocent but in every case it was his followers who did the actual killing (some times it was angels but . . .) and that what we are seeing unfold yet again.
God could solve by simply showing up but I'm not holding my breath
