@RavenCT We're not even close to being beyond this, or any other, misogyny. We've never been close to it. We've deluded ourselves into thinking that we've "come a long way, baby". We're still back, right where we were before. When the ERA didn't get ratified, I knew we were not even close.

@KKGator Yes the ERA being ratified in my lifetime would have been an achievement. I suspect there will be a backlash of epic proportions at some point and we might just get it then. (Just not sure when).

@RavenCT It's a lovely idea. Unfortunately, I do not share your optimism. I think the human race will go to it's extinction no better
than we are now. People will still believe in entities that have never existed in reality, and women will still never hold the same amount of power as men. I have no hope for humanity. I really don't. We suck.
