Lot of deceptions and assumptions with how many letters you have after your name.. I hate titles and I also have a college degree as well. There is book smart and there is street smart. I would say I am more street smart than anything.
Undergrad taught me better time management and how to schmooze more genuinely, useful skills for most careers.
The second biggest lie out there.
College doesn't teach common sense. I've gone to a doctor once, and she rx'd something. I talked to another doctor and she laughed saying it wouldn't work! For a dr. to laugh at another is sad (they both know each other). My former business partner took his daughter to the same dr that gave me the wrong meds for a throat sore. She said she needs her toncles taken out. He said she just had them taken out. Ooopsssss.
BTW I have a college degree.
@TheGreatShadow Ya, college sure has nothing to do with how smart someone is or isn't.
@MiltsterD And a lot of the stuff they teach has little/nothing to do with your profession. Even if so, they teach the textbook way. You get your first job after college, and they laugh at you about how you do things. I had a class in college called Interpersonal Relationships. Basically paid for a class that was an adult version of show and tell! Best money I ever spent (not). Just because you have a degree, and say you are smart is like saying "this guy is an idiot because they have a Southern accent". The same goes for saying "this person is a genius because they have a British accent". IQ tests are BS as well.
